Kerala History Congress VIII Annual International Session Call for Papers & Fee
Kerala History Congress is a professional organization of teachers and research
students seeking the promotion of rational and secular history of Kerala. The annual
sessions of the Kerala History Congress intent to provide platforms for discussing
and debating new research and perspectives coming up in historical knowledge on
Kerala. It envisages the sessions in such a way as to bring the budding scholars and
erudite scholars on a common platform to offer immense possibilities of interaction
and exchange of ideas between them.
The Presentations are held simultaneously in the following Sections.
• Social History
• Political History
• Cultural History
• Economic History
• Oral Histories / Local Histories
Papers from this session are anticipated to be published in the UGC CARE listed
Proceedings.

Department of History: Programme Specific Outcome
1. To evaluate the spatial and temporal shifts in Indian and world history
2. To adapt curricula to enable students to be a part of an efficient workforce and for higher studies in history, and other interdisciplinary subjects
3. To familiarize students with the theories of social sciences and different schools of historiography
4. To empower students to focus on applied and policy issues in contemporary India
5. To provide programs that allow the students to choose from a wide range of history and other allied disciplines
6. To ensure an affective learning environment with emphasis on empathy, scientific temperament, secularism, civic consciousness, and welfare state
